As the country moves forward with COVID-19 vaccinations and the CDC has learned more about the effectiveness of screening children, we have decided to update our COVID-19 health screening policy for athletes entering the gym. Effective January 19th 2021, we will start Home-Based Symptom screening and only taking temperature checks of athletes upon entry to the gym.

Instructions for Home-Based Symptom Screening

Caregivers: If your child has any of the following symptoms,
they might have an illness they can spread to others.

Check your child for these symptoms before they go to class at TumblePro or
practice at PROCHEER TX

Check a symptom only if it has changed from usual or baseline health

  • Temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher
  • Sore throat
  • Cough (for students with chronic cough due to allergies or asthma, a change in their cough from baseline)
  • Difficulty breathing (for students with asthma, a change from their baseline breathing)
  • Diarrhea or vomiting
  • New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever

If your child HAS any of the symptoms above:

  • Keep them home form class and practice
  • Consider whether your child needs to see a healthcare provider and possible COVID-19 testing.
    • CDC has a Coronavirus Self Checker available on its website, which may help you make decisions about seeking medical care for possible COVID-19.
  • Call or Text the TumblePro Front Desk at (512) 317-7070 or email us at and report that your child is sick.
    • We may ask some additional questions to help determine when it is safe for your child to return to class or practice. A Make Up toke will be issued for all TumblePro classes that are missed due to illness.

If your child does NOT have any of the symptoms above:

  • Send them to class or practice as usual.
